Technology has advanced in leaps and bounds with the invention of DVDs and DVD players but at least with VHS you were garenteed that what you had recorded would play on any VHS player. I have seven DVD players and stand alone players and recorers in my house including pc players and burners yet I find myself trying to play DVD discs that I record a while ago on different players trying to get them to play without fault.
I often resort to playing them on the player that they were origionaly recorded from\. WhY is this?
I know there is all sorts of contributing factors involved to make DVD discs playable on every kind ov DVD pLAYER eg. quality of the disc, sensetivity of the laser on each indevidual player /burner, quality of the burner etc but, I just find the whole new system unreliable and Ive ben burning for years now lol
question:(FOR ONE OF YOUSE OLD TIMERS)
Is it ver going to be as reliable as VHS.and if your answer is no
then what is your solution
