I've converted an audio CD to mp3 which is now on my hard
drive but I'm unable to copy this onto a cd-r. Do I need a certain piece of software to do this, I only have CloneCD copying software.

You can get one of the demos: Nero ( www.nero.com ), CDRWin ( www.goldenhawk.com ). Remember to burn the MP3s as Data CD, not Audio CD.

Well if u wanna listen to the mp3 that u have ripped then copy them as audio in Nero but if u just want to back them up then try data as u can get upto about 70 songs ;)
CloneCd is more for cd to cd copy, infact that is only thing it can do cd to cd :)
