cd/dvd drive not recognised

i had two scsi do not remeber both but one was stealth which was removed by uninstalling daemon tools and the other was removed by uninstalling alcohol 120 %.

registry does not have lower value and upper value.still cannot see one of the cd drives..it shows only one and the other one has a cd in it and i cannot even open it and remove cd.

Need help..

Are the drives being shown in the BIOS ?.

If so are they listed in Device Manager, if so try deleting them and rebooting, so fresh drivers will be reloaded by XP.
