prblem with geforce 2 ti 64mg and monitor

Hi, i am running a P2 450mhz with a voodoo 3 3000, but i have just bought a sparkle geforce 2 64mb ddr ti nvdia card. I am having trouble when i boot into windows (98 second edition) as my monitor just blacks out and goes into standby mode. I can run it in safe mode ok. I have downloaded the latest drivers for both card and monitor (ADI Provista E44).

Can someone please help or is it time to upgrade??

i hade the same problem !!! i did the live bios update on the video card first. then i installed the video drv,s works like a champ.

where do i get the live bios from, how do i install it. Is it easy? Plse send a link or somthing. Cheers mate
