O.K. for the benifit of all us game dupping and Movie ripping freaks here in this forum can we all start to drop a reply on this thread stating what media we use for successful burns for PSX,PS2,DC and/or Movies. It goes a long way towards helping each other to save time guessing and to stop adding to the non-bio degradable Drink coaster surplus. And in the long run saves us all a lot of headaches and alot of money. So where to buy, brand names and prices are a plus. Thanks to all in advance.

Great, I use Ritek general purpose DVDr media for burning Movies and Kodak CDR media for PSX burns. I have tried Apple DVDr media and Pioneer media for PS2 DVD rom titles but I have yet to burn successfully. It's me I'm sure and not the media.
Ritek DVDr media is $47.99 per ten pack with free shipping. order it through Shop4tech.com
Kodak CDR media is $47.99 per 100 ordered through PWRsystems
Apple DVDr media is last I heard about $30.00 for a 5 pack
Pioneer DVDr media is $10.00 a piece from Circuit city or Best buys

O.K. great job guys....now I have an update...
Those Cheap Ritek DVDr's work for the PS2 burns as well. So I'll probably start stocking up on them as I plan to maximize my efforts at the local video and game rental clubs.

Also there is a Panasonic DVD/Game Cube floating around in places in NYC that comes premodded for playing imports and backups. Yup the 3" DVD media from Nintendo needs to be ripped and burned to standard DVDr media then presto! You can play it. About $490.00 retail. But after about 4 or 5 game rips it pays for itself. I'll need to do some more homework on the copying process though.

Also, I plan to get an X-Box traded exchanged for a spare modded PS2 I aquired and try some experimenting hacking it for backup playback as well...after all it's really just a PC. The gaming world now has so many choices. How will I cope???

In a pinch I tried the Panasonic DVD-r general pupose media. $10.00 each at Sears Roebucks. Worked fine on a copy of Final Fantasy X. Only burns at 1x though.

Circuit City has new generic DVD-r media for $5 that worked for me on a 1x burn for Jade Cacoon 2 (it only burns at 1x also)
