installed new hard drive. used 98 boot floppy to load cd drivers to be able to install XP. cd drivers will not load. tried 3 different cd players, no help.
suggestions ?
Bios sees the cd drive !

You don't need CD drivers, boot with the XP startup disk in the CD drive.

Make sure that the BIOS shows that the "First Boot Device" is the CDROM.

Follow the XP startup and it will let you set the Partition and format the new drive, once this is done the XP install will continue installing XP.
