Finally managed to get this scanner working under XP :) :) :)
I know theres been others as well as me who couldn't get it working.
Follow these steps:
Download the Windows 2000 drivers from Here (http://www.primax.nl)
Run the program (PISMUSBENG.EXE) you just downloaded.
When it asks you to restart your system, select NO
Now run WINZIP and load the downloaded (PISMUSBENG.EXE) file into it.
By loading I mean drag and drop the file into the Winzip Screen, NOT give the file a .zip extension.
Extract all the files to a folder (e.g C:\Temp)
Go into Device Manager and select the Scanner
Select Update Driver
Select Install Driver from a list or Specific location, then DONT SEARCH
Select Imaging Devices
Select Have Disk
Browse to the place you extracted the files to.
Go into the folder \OT1Drivers\OS
Click OKAY
Choose Flatbed Scanner (English) 6
Click Continue anyway when the Driver Signing warning appears.
Reboot.
The above method works for me under XP Pro :D :D
