Has anyone else had problems with slow read speeds using smartripper. I was helping a friend learn how to burn dvd's and using smartripper it was only reading at about 1.9-2.0 Kbps, after it reached 95% it dropped to .1-.5Kbps. I finally had to restart his machine because it locked up. We were using the DVR-A03 to rip it. We also tried using his Toshiba DVD-ROM Drive, I have a Pioneer 106s DVD-ROM at home and it usually rips at between 4 & 6Kbps perfectly with no problems. Any ideas?

We successfully ripped a full dvd using the Toshiba drive however it only maintained a constant read speed of 1.9-2.0 Kbps. He is running a Pentium 4 1.8GHz Processor, 512Mb PC133 SDRAM, don't know what the problem is. The Toshiba drive is a 16x DVD Drive.
