My M8s downloaded (or tried to update his driver) a new driver for his dvd drive and now the drive spit outs discs( movies only) any help would be appreciated.

Was it working before the update? If so then just install the old update. If you are using Windows XP or ME then you can do a system restore back to before the new driver was intstalled and that might help aslo.
