thanks
Eft Feb 18, 2002, 06:23 PM If I understand correctly, you're going to take an mp3 LP play it, record it as one track and then have one mp3 for all of the tracks?
Use quicktime pro, open 1st track, save as lp name, add each other track onto it using cut & paste.
scartcable Feb 18, 2002, 07:36 PM Can You maybe give me clearer instructions yes i have quick time 5 pro but i need to know how to cut a mp3 and paste it into another please give me full instrutions
Eft Feb 19, 2002, 10:19 AM Ok, the target MP# leave the paly mark at the end of it. Open the other MP#, use the little triangle sliders to highlight the whole thing. command+C then make the target mp3 the front, and command+v it should just add on.
scartcable Feb 19, 2002, 04:32 PM i still dont understand. What about an idiots guide please
Eft Feb 19, 2002, 05:08 PM That's gonna take time, maybe in @30 hours, work is real busy and I'd like to give examples while I do it,
but OK.
scartcable Feb 22, 2002, 09:36 AM So what about that guide now ?

scartcable Feb 25, 2002, 01:56 PM Damn I reely need this guide eft Please hurry
Eft Feb 25, 2002, 06:00 PM within 8 hours! I get off at 7:30 CST and will do it shortly after getting home.
Eft Mar 01, 2002, 02:42 AM Ok, eight hours my booty, but here we go:
Quicktime Pro-
Take 1st track of CD (as mp3 file already) and "save as" for the name of the whole album.
Open next track (as mp3 file) and use the little triangles "select all" and do a command+C (copy). Slide the play marker over to the end of the Album track and do a command+V (paste). This should append the 2nd track to the 1st.
Repeat with subsequent tracks until you have the whole LP.
Toast/CD Spin Doctor-
Burn Audio CD of MP3s in toast. Use CD Spin Doctor to record from CD drive into one .Aiff track, burn another CD with just the AIFF track and MP3 it with iTunes or take aiff file and use SoundApp (freeware- http://www.versiontracker.com under the audio section) to convert it to mp3.
Sorry about the delay and hope it all works for you.
qxe900 Mar 02, 2002, 04:56 PM what i cant underatnd is why u just want the one mp3 file? is it a mix or something? do you just wnat the one file for convience? you can make a seperat playlist of all the tracks in iTunes...
Eft Mar 02, 2002, 05:03 PM I think he wants to have full albums as one file for his portable mp3 player, if I remember correctly.
