Can anyone give me info on how to put VHS on to DVD

Easiest thing to do is to get a Panasonic DMR-E20 from best buy or circuit city. That will allow youto plug a VCR straight into it. You might need a macrovision defeater if what you rae trying to copy has macrovision on it.

I should have gave more info. I am using a Pioneer A03 to do DVD-R, so I was wondering if there was a way I could transfer VHS to DVD with this.

You need a video capture device. ATI All in wonder should do the trick. The newer the better. Then using DVDIt you should be able to make the DVD.

I haven't done it with VHS but I have done it with digital 8. The most important thing in capturing good quality video is a fast ,defragmented hard drive. The faster the better . If you don't you will have a lot of dropped frames. Your goal is zero drops. I use a Maxtor firewire external 80meg 7200 hard drive and I have no problems. I have heard of people who use ATA 100's with no problem, but if you have an old, slow, clogged hard drive you're wasting your time.
