I use the same progs as you m8. Although I run two firewalls at once with ZAP and Neowatch as well. Every now and again Neowatch picks up something that ZAP does not but IMO it's always harmless stuff so far.
I would say your set-up is fine but personally I don't even bother running "The Cleaner" in the background at all. I just scan my HD every few days with it to be on the safe side.
I read another post by you re: "BadTrans" IIRC and understand why you want to err on the safe side m8.

No don't think there is m8.
But you can download a free version of "Neotrace" which is a great little prog that traces any atempts to hack int your PC. You can find out which country, network, registrant etc.
You can get it from:- http://www.neoworx.com/
Sadly they have sold out recently to McAfee so just watch their great progs get swallowed up! :(

hi m8 the cleaner program is only worth running if u download
a lot
i have got it on my pc and just scan every couple of days
it has found some really nasty stuff that i did not know about
but nortons did not pick it up
if u download a lot and swap list etc.
its worth scanning the pc every 3days or if something weird
happens
scan the pc right away
backup2k1(the name u can trust)
ps
zone alarm pro is good
and nortons firewall 2002 is very good
and of course tiny usa firewall is very good tooo
bad ones are

lockdown 2002

Guys the way i look at it is there is NOOOOO point of even using the cleaner if you aint gonna have tc active or tc monitor in the background as tcmonitor will detect any weird things going on with the system as it scans everything that is always running as to writing to the registry.
taken from the help file
"TCActive! is a program that can catch trojans before they load and do any damage to your system."
"The TCMonitor utility will watch important registry keys and files"

hmmm. interesting. how much resources would the cleaner take if i had it active? if not much, then i will run it all the time. thanks

hi crow im not exactly sure how many resources it takes but its well worth the extra protection. I run them and nav2002 and 2 firewalls in xp and game sstill run smooth as can be and have no problems whatsoever any place else.

Hi
I will go with Hammy here, I have TC running in the background and it doesn't seam to make any difference to my comp.
I run benchtests, for my site and my own ammusement, on a regular basis and TC doesn't make any difference to these at all.

hi m8 im using both modes for the cleaner
there is no slow down or conflict up to now
you got to be carefull on the net
as when u are at some warez sites
it will try and write over your reg
so worth keeping in both modes i think

ps
if u want added security run two firewalls rather then one
then do the leak test and see what wins
but zone alarm and nortons and tiny firewall
pass the test with flying colours
and does not send no details out
here tiny link for ya
