Eft Feb 22, 2002, 12:47 PM Somewhere in the control panels, Appearance is a good place to start. owarsson Feb 23, 2002, 04:29 AM If you mean "Energy Saver" (screen goes black after a while, drives stop), then it's under the "Energy Saver" Control Panel. If you mean fancy cute graphics stuff comes up, then you (or someone else) installed a screen saver program like After Dark - there should be a Control Panel for that. If there's no CP that looks suspicious, then see if there's anything in your "Startup Items" folder in your System Folder. Something might be auto-launching on boot. Unless you're running OSX, which is something I know nothing about. OW dpmanx1 Mar 02, 2002, 08:51 PM i figured it out... On Macs 1. Go to the Apple Icon. 2. Select Control Panels. 3. Select Energy Saver. 4. Select Show Details. 5. Check Seperate Timing for Display Sleep. 6. Select the number of minutes after which you want your screen (and your CPU) to power down. |
