silly question time

a friend has just bought a pc with burner and windows xp preloaded

i am gonna go round (and take nero/clone/winoncd)

will they work as normal or do i have to something differently in Windows XP?

The newest versions of Nero and CloneCD will work just fine.
If you have Winoncd v.5, it will work fine. If you have 3.8, you will need to install the XP Wizard. Get it here (http://www.cequadrat.de/english/support/list_servicepacks_e.html). Also, you might want to get Service pack 2 here (http://www.cequadrat.de/english/support/list_servicepacks_e.html) for v. 3.8. That should get you started!
