My CDRW is having difficulties reading audio CDs. Since I installed it I cannot play audio cds using the Windows players (it will play MP3s).

Then, I had a brief power interruption while recording an audio CD to my hard drive using Nero 5. Ever since then if I try to use Nero play and record audio CDs the sound is very choppy. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Nero but the problem is still there.

However, Easy CD Creator works just fine. But I want to use Nero because the sound quality is SO much better.

Please Help! I have sent an Email to Ahead to help me but they have not responded and it has been more than 2 weeks.

Thanks!!!!

Drives by Digital Research Technologies suck.

I used to have just a 40x CDrom by them and half the time it couldn't read the game cd's I had.
Any other drive saw em just fine.
