How do you copy a cd protected by safedisc 2?
I`ve tried several times using the latest version of clone and a plextor (40/12/40) writer and ultraplex 40max rom.

What settings did you use and what was the version of SafeDisc2?? Also which drive have you tried the copy in and what exactly is wrong with it??
Anyway you should have a look here and see if it helps: http://members.optushome.com.au/spamcatcher/unsafedisc/
Also your drive is listed as "Drive writes regular bit patterns almost correctly." so if it is the latest version of SD2 then you may have problems.

Actually basically all the old drives should still be able to do SD2. I have made several copies with an Acer 1208 of SD2.51.21 CDs.
Read at Max Speed and wrote at Max Speed.. However it will not run in my brothers Sony drive, where as old copies used to.. Perhaps it is possible to still make a copy that works in his drive, but I couldn't be bothered trying, I just gave him a cracked EXE.
The same maynot be true of all drives that write regular bit patterns almost correctly, but I believe that people have had success with the Plextor 24x.
