ok i have a liteon burner (24x10x40x burn proof) and im trying to burn .wav files on my computer with nero burning software. when i started the burner it goes to 3% then starts recording some of track 1 onto track 2 and then i get error reading audio and buffer goes down and it stops...i can burn all of them as files fine but i cant as a cd track...can anyone help??



my computer is an emachines 600mhz with 256mb of RAM and a 10 gig hard drive if that helps. send any emails to otakon0x0@cs.com

A couple things to try, first make sure DMA is enabled for both the CDRW and the HD

Nero also has an option to increase the size of the cache under the File Menu > Preferences try turning it up a little.
Try turning the burn speed down a notch or two, and also from what I read depending on your firmware version to a certain extent this LiteON can be a little picky about what type of CDR you are using. It prefers phthalocyanine discs
