I was at OfficeMax a short while ago.
While I was there I decided to check out the CD-RW drives section;
I noticed a Polaroid burner!

Has anyone heard of Polaroid selling burners?
It was a 24X.

Sure its not a 'Polaroid picture' of another make of burner ? :)

I heard the company is not doing too well, so it wont surprise me if they try to branch out to other fields. I doubt it very much they made the burner, so if there are one, it should be a re-badged model no doubt.

It was definitely a 24X CD-RW drive lol :)
I agree about them re-badging it, that is why I said selling, rather than
making.
Maybe now that HP has called it quits, and possibly also because they
aren't doing too well, as you stated, they think this could be a lucrative market for them.
Who knows...
If so, they should get into the DVD recordable hardware business...
