Hi all. Can someone here recomend me a burner? I want something good, but cant afford a plextor. I need something with all its functions and reliability. this includes writing raw data DAO etc, ripping through secureROM, safedisc and any other copy protection getting around and obviously support for programs like cdr-win, clone cd, nero, and discjuggler. I also need the other standard fare, like burnproof technology. I dont need anything blazingly fast, 24x10x40 would be just fine.
The only other thing I want is overburn support, and also support for those new 90min 800mb cdrs.

I had a ricoh burner before that, and it had conflicts with the ali chipset in my motherboard, so I would like to avoid that this time around if possible.

Im thinking of getting a lite-on, is this a good idea?

The lite-on 24x sounds like it would be perfect for you.. It supports burning up to 99mins and will copy any game that can be copied.
