i have downloaded a few programs from morpheus and wish to put them onto disk for storage, but, certain files like .rar, .ace and .exe tend to make the burning process overrun and errors occur. Which nero conditions should be switched on to avoid these problems..(i have many coasters)

Do you mean you are getting 'Buffer underrun' errors?.

The standard fixes for this are:
Defrag your harddrive
Close down all TSRs except Systray & Explorer (use CTRL ALT DEL to bring up a list of running apps)
Disable screen savers, power savers and anti-virus software
