I'm posting this info because it has come in handy for me and maybe it will for some of you too.

For those of you who don't know, you can receive an e-mail to alert you about new Microsoft Security Updates here http://www.microsoft.com/technet/treeview/default.asp?url=/technet/security/bulletin/notify.asp

You will notified of updates literally minutes after their release.

very handy but my email limit is only 5mb :D

It has nothing to do with MS Updates. All you do is subscribe to a list. Then, whenever MS issues a new security update, it sends you an e-mail that briefly describes the update and contains a link to the MS webpage for the new update. You then can manually d/l and install the update if you so choose.
