I have AMD 1400ghz, 256ddram, 40gb and a V3 3000 PCI on WIN XP Pro. I installed Wolfenstein and when I tried to run it I got that little box thingy and it was working fine but then it minimized and said, "GLW_Start OpenGL () - could not load OpenGL subsystem". Is this because that my V3 is old? Do I need update?

Upadate yopur video card driver, I had this problem too when i first installed RTCW on my pc. As long as the new driver for your video card has a newer version of Open GL you should be just fine.

There are some different drivers for XP. go to vid cards web site and download the XP drivers. I did it for nvidia and all is cool!

Download another driver because Windows XP doesn't come with Open GL for your video cards "SOMETIMES". So just find a newer driver with Open GL in it or install Open GL yourself and it'll work.

There's a fix for this from Microsoft - use the Windows update feature, it worked for me.
 I thought the bl00dy problems from the changeover had been fixed. It took s0dding weeks to get my status back to normal and now I find its gone back down to junior smegging member again.
FFS get this sorted please:mad:
