Hey i have been trying to burn a psx game well a couple and not had any luck as of yet. I was wondering if anyone know of a site or sites that list all games and there anti copy software on each. I did find a page that tells me how to use clonecd and the settings for the games and any anti copy software but i just do not know what one is on the disks.. Oh i am using clonecd and running it on a xp system.

Is it not burning, is it burning then messing up in the middle of it, does it burn but not work in you PSX? Are you getting error messages, if so what do they say? Your burner might not be compatbile with CloneCD. Have you ever burnt anything else besides a PSX game. Like kgen3001 try CDrwin.http://www.mindshatter.com/forum/brandono.gif

the game burns but when i put it in the playstation i get the first white screen and then i get the black ps screen and then it goes to the red checkered screen that asks for the format disk. the disk i am using is a brand new disk got from the store and does not have any fingure prints or scratchs on it.. i was using it because i know it worked and it was brand new.

"red checkered screen that asks for the format disk" I've never heard of this screen before. What PSX game is it. Does the original do the same thing? Have you tried a different PSX game? The game may need a patch www.megagames.com

So do you have the original version of the Barbie game which is giving you the checkerd screen error. If so scan the original game with this program and let me know if it gives you a protection and which one. http://zap.to/EngXXL

I scanned it and got a message

No aspi layer loaded

Unable to scan for bad sectors

the aspi layer has been deactivated
therefore this function is not available to you

What kind of mod do you have? That might be part of the problem.

Do any of your other backups work? Also, what version of the game is it PAL/NTSC, maybe it needs a patch?

Spud,I get the red format screen when I forget to put my boot cd in.Maybe your backups are ok,but your mod is at fault perhaps.

Hey Spud....

Its sounds like if one of your Mod wires been clipped. Or you might have to
re-Hex your chip....

If you need help let know. I happen to have all the hex files for all the
PSX/PS2/NEOKEY Chips
