Hi guys (and girls),

Getting pretty desperate to get my hands on the Dansai machine as sold at Tesco. I read the reviews here (http://www.reviewcentre.com/products51.html) and I just HAVE to get one.

I read the other post about the Decca DVD player from Powerhouse, and so may also be interested in that. The only reason I haven't gone out and bought the Decca is that not many people have reviewed it on the aforementioned site. Plus it's a tenner cheaper ;)

I went down to my local Tesco and asked the assistant if she knew when any more would come in and she just told me that the get a stock in and when they're gone, they're gone. She wasn't sure whether they'd ever get any more in.

Anybody know any different?

have you rung round all the Tesco's near you when i bought mine i rang about six all said they didn't have any but a small tesco in the middle of town had six,Its well worth driving a fair distance to get one of these they are a fantastic machine for the money plays everything it will even play photo albums on cd,The decca is supposed to be the same underneath but its not as nice looking as the dansai.

Cheers for your reply Den. I did try ringing round, but to no avail.

No need to worry now tho - coz I bought myself the Decca DDV-2110 tonight. Took out a three year warranty on it, too, so the total cost was £129.98.

Chuffed to bits.... just need to plug it all in now and work out how to disable macrovision and sort out the multi-region capabilities!

Cheers!
