i`ve got a pc set up cosisting of windows 2000 and the usual features --i intend to add a dvd copier + reader for the purpose of backing up dvd movies + ps2 etc--i need to know which is the best combination of writer + reader or should i wait for a newer copier with better features etc--i hear the pioneer ao3 is the best--if so what reader should i get to compliment this writer if i went this way--ialso hear that a faster pioneer is on the horizon
do the dvd writers laso burn standard cds as i will want this system for converting dvd to svcd
should i wait or buy now--hint and tips please

The A04 is on the horizon, so you may want to wait a little bit for that. For the most part its just not a good idea to write on the fly. You might succeed or you might crash and burn.

Go for it now mate......Nokianeeds is selling A03 for £295 all in :)
You can sent this guy CASH and its probably safer with him than the bank

Go here...http://www.afterhours.co.uk/

and buy a Toshiba DVD rom for the pc at £57.80 all in....this drive reads everything...and I meen everything including the DVD RAM disks that come with the standalone Panasonic E 20...
You can pay this guy directly through the Abbey National...so no postalorders etc..

When you have these 2 ...the worlds your limit:zombie:

Hope this has been of some use to you;)
