Im running win xp pro (brilliant)and feel that the included firewall is **** and think that i need some form of protection, please someone help. Thanks

Have you disallowed msn messanger to act as a server in Zone alarm, If you have allow it server privalages and try the webcam again, I know if you dont allow it server rights then you cant use the file transfer so it may be the same for the webcam.
Just thought Id add that allowing messanger server rights will leave you vunerable to attatck, also using messsanger without server rights still listens out for connections which means your computer will be detected if you are scanned.

Cobra: We don't actually know that it is spyware for certain so it would be appretaited if you could stop posting that over and over, thanks :)

aelson: Check the list of programs in ZA and ensure that MSN Messenger is not blocked.
