Go easy on me. My first post to this forum, but long time listener. I mean reader.

Question:
Is it possible to extract audio clips or sound bytes from a DVD?

I've got a DVD player installed in my desktop computer. I've got access to a variety of software, but haven't found any that can do this task.

Just an example of one I'd like to extract.

There are two different ways to go about this.. One is to use something like total recorder to record the movies audio as it plays, the other is to rip the AC3 file for that chapter, convert and then cut out the section you are after.. If it is just a few lines, then it is probably easier to go with the first method..

I believe that dbpoweramp (http://www.dbpoweramp.com/) will also do the job with the Auxiliary Input plugin.
