Hi,

I want to upgrade my ECDC 5.0 to ver. 5.02d so that I can use DirectCD with my Plextor 2410A.

The upgrade from Roxio keep teling me that no Roxio product is found. Strange.

Help?

i just uninstalled ecdc 5, then reinstalled
then i istalled the update

I would be dead by now with a heart attack if I still used EZCD, the results are just not worth it IMHO.

There are special update files that must be installed before EZCD Creator 5 is compatible with Win XP.

I tried reinstalling - problem not solved. In fact the uninstaller couldn't delete a key i the registration database. I had to remove it manually.

Besides from this problem I am very satisfied with my Win2K-Pro. And I need the DirectCD utillity.

Pretty much lost right now. Are there alternatives to DirectCD.

With my previous writer (HP) I didn't manage to run both Nero and DirecCD, so I skipped Nero and used ECDC with Direct CD instaed.

Could this upgrade by any chance have anything with the writer settings to do. Master/slave - IDE0/1 ?????
