hi everyone

i have a sony cd-rw CRX0811. Used to work fine (with win98) but now i have win xp pro...
It reads data/audios cds very well. but when i put a blank cd, here's the message in explorer: E: is not accessible, incorrect function. Tried different medias, disk defragmenter.

When i burn with nero (latest version):

13:00:04 #34 mmc -1093 File Writer.cpp, Line 321
No seek complete

13:00:04 #35 Text 0 File ThreadedTransfer.cpp, Line 219
all writers idle, stopping conversion

13:00:04 #36 Text 0 File ThreadedTransfer.cpp, Line 213
conversion idle, stopping reader

When i burn with easy cd creator 5.1 or platinum 5.02d (latest version):
buffer underrun error, trackwritter error and another error (means: can't find location on the cd to write to)
thanks a lot
(the burner works fine in another computer, with win98)

Try copying your track list into media player and using media player to burn to cd (copy from cd/copy to cd or device etc).Give this a try and see if this works.:blockhd: :clown:

Try to install the CD Burners update from the Windows update site. It can correct your problem.
