Hi all,

As it never got ripped, I finally got myself an original US copy of "D2" which is an import game for me here in the Uk.

Being an original, it won't play on my Uk system without the boot disk, which is fine..... BUT:

[This is a 4-disc game] when you get to the end of CD 1, it says "insert CD 2" - NO OPTION TO SAVE THE GAME AT THE END OF THE CD like others (shenmue) do, and opening the CD tray, putting disc 2 in won't work as it's an import "disc not recognized"....

The result is.... I can't play the game past CD1

Any ideas on what to do????? would be much appreciated!

Thats unlucky. Are you absolutely sure that there is no save option? Otherwise it looks like you are stumped completly unless you get your machine chipped.
