ok i am on a mac g4 with a pioneer dvd-r burner...i am using pioneer blank media and when i put the dvd-r into the computer to burn it toast titanium says that it cannot read how much space is available on the disc...what do i do?:furious:

You didn't happen to put these blanks in prior to launching toast? You know to see if the OS sees them as an empty volume or something like that did you?

And you're not inserting them until you've prepped data to be burned right?

no i didn't put it in b4 i opened toast...i had the dvd image ready to burn and it came up with the error

So you hit record wait for the system to request media, then when you put it in you get an error?

Also check to see if you have the latest update for toast. The last I heard ver update 5.1.1 was out. I have yet to run it as I'm still on 5.0.2.
