i got a neo 2.2 modchip and when i insert real ps2 games it makes noise while reading the game please i need help how to solve this problem please.

It will make SOME noise anyway m8, even with NO mod-chip installed.

How bad is the noise? What is it doing? Buzzing, clicking? Is it happening on EVERY disk you try?

I presume by 'real' you mean an original? If not (and it's a 'backup'), it's probably the media that the CD's burned to. Try using Verbs or Apple media.

My PS2/NEO4 always makes noise when loading both originals and backups. I think it's normal. The games still work fine.

Put 'noise' in the search engine & have a look see. be sure you have NO, none, zippo partial labels on your disks.

I have swap magic and mine makes noise when Backups or real disks are put in! :cheers:
