Well to be honest i am well and truly in a state.

I have 2.2 and region x ,also have dmc demo, and now i have mgs2 dvdr.
And as you guessed i want to play it.

Please can some one go through it step by step.

i have download gs1.9 etc but i dont no how to burn it.So as you all now see.

you can't play dvdrs with dvdregionx unless you combine it with the knife tricks. anyways, is you PS2 is a pal ps2 or a us-ntsc ps2.

I have a pal ps2 about 18months old now.Willing to do the knife trick,but dont seem to be able to grasp what to do.Have download gs and ar but get a bit stuck as to how to put it on disk and burn.More help please if you would.

try to downloads action replay version 1.7 image at ********lanvo_1.tripod.com

then burn it with cdrwin.

then boot it up with dvdregionx
then when AR2 1.7 backups boot to the main screen press eject
then put in your DVD T.O.C disk, press eject to close
then wait 10 seconds
then choose start games
then choose with/without codes
then use the knife tricks method to swap with your dvdrs
then press x

Ok doing the down load bit,how do i put this into cdrwin and on disk m8,bit thick when it comes to this.

I take this from the FAQ:

Burning the Image (.BIN)

With?

CDRWin

1) Open CDRWin.

2) Click the 'Record Disc' button (Top Left)

3) CDROM Recorder: Chose your burner

4) Click 'Load Cuesheet'.

5) Browse for the .CUE file.

6) Uncheck 'Test Mode' etc.

7) Select your speed (Think slow)

8) Select 'Save Settings'

9) Click 'Start Recording'

CDRWin will now write the .BIN file to your CD-R.

Finished.

Use discjugler (and burn in RAW mode, 4x) because cdrwin has some compatibility problems. If you get an image .CCD, download clonecd and burn with default settings. Try using action replay v2.01 because you wont be able to boot the action replay v1.7 while you dont insert the dongle int the memory card slot.
