Hi...Spruce up question...(stupid question...but I am a newbie)

When I access file/properties ...where it says
"video format for next project"...What should it be on?
I ask because,I selected PAL...(matrix pal r2) cause that's what the original is.

But when I went to compile,I got the error message "mismatch format"?
So I started again ...this time I left it on NTSC...and it recognised it as a Pal format?

So should the format be left on NTSC or Changed to whatever the original disk format is???
