Use Clone CD, read with FES enabled, write settings depend on your drives capabilities.. If you have a GCE-8240B or a GCE-8320B then just write in RAW DAO, if you have a different model LG, then you will need to have AWS enabled.

no, AWS is only for those sectors, that SD uses.

I made a straight copy of it ( not a crack ) using my Plex 16x10x40 copying on the fly using clone cd witha 54 speed cd-rom ...it took 3 hours !!!! nightmare .

PS do any of you know where i can buy some backed up ( copied ) PC games ??

Zellar in order to make a true copy 1:1 of Max Payne you need to have a CD writer that is EFM capable. At the moment alot of drives have dramas trying to back up titles with Safe Disc 2.51 and higher, alot of the newer titles use this protect such as Max Payne, C+C renegade, MOHAA etc. The new Sony;s Liteons, and Plexi can do this copy prot with the aid of good RAW utilising software such as Clone CD and Blind read/write. Check out there web pages for more info, unfortuantley a really good site Clone Clinic got shut down a while ago was a good rescource.

If your burner is not EFM cabable Clone CD has an option called AWS (amplify weak sectors) that may be able to help you however if you live in America or Japan you cannot access these features (well not without a little work)

the little work Hardjards mentioned is either applying a small patch, allowing you to use both AWS and hide cdr media, or you have to change yer pc's regional settings to eg UK
