can game cube games be read on a pee cee dvd-rom?

if so, is it worth while to make "images" of games now, in hopes that they can be burned in the future?

From what I know, they can't be read on PC, but I have never tried. They already modded the Panasonic gamecube to read CDR and DVDR movies so in theory it should play CDR and DVDR games but from what I know no one has figured out how to rip the games to there PC so they can burn them.
