non-branded cheapshit have been working for me since 1 month after release date till now w/o any probs!!

i have used all the brands of cd-r media and they all work fine, all the cd-r media work just the same as each other on the ps2. i dont think it matters what brand you use..........

i agree that it doesn't matter on the brand, but everyone who disagress says:
vermiten or something like that
imitation
tdk
fuji
kodak

They all work., Try reading the board first too. I mean its answered several times a week.
