I have a PS1 with a bad laser, (it won't read the cd's). Does anyone know if any other laser from an older PSX will work on a PS1? Are the plugs the same, or are there adapters available? If so, where? Thanks :round: :round:

yes a normal psx laser will work the ribbon is longer but it will work.
ive got a ps1 laser in my 5502 psx and that has worked for about a year now.
