At megagames.com, I found numerous patches for several of the games that I'm trying to or already have burned, but I don't know what "trainer +some#" is. Could someone help me out? Also, is "protection fix" where you can burn the games that are supposedly uncopyable. 1 last thing, is the "no-swap" some kind of thing where it fixes you not being able to swap the disks in multi-disk games?

Trainers are options to let you cheat.
Ex
When you start a game with +5 trainer a menu will come up before the game starts with 5 Cheats that you can enable/disable. If it was a +20 trainer it would have 20 cheats.

Some games have a Mod chip detector in it so if you have an older Mod chip it will find the chip and a screen will come up. A protection fix will get rid of that.

I'm not sure about the no-swap though.

I have another question, one of my friends heard you can't copy multi-disk games correctly, is this true?

You can copy multi disc games fine. I have with Driver 2. Their is just problems with PSXchange or plug mods because with these you can't insert the second disc without turning the system off. So if you can't save at the end of disc 1 and it asks for disc 2 then I think their is certain buttons you can press to boot the 2nd disc without turning the PSX off.
Do you know what I mean?

Yeah, I know what you mean, and I have an internal mod chip, so I should be ok, right? Also, I tried to burn a copy of the Xploder off of the megagames site, and when I try to use it, the screen keeps scrolling really fast, is there a way to fix this.

Sorry about all the newbie questions.

"Sorry about all the newbie questions." No prob, thats what this forum is for.
Yes. Multi disc games will work and copy fine. Xplodder CD is PAL(TV signal used in Europe) and your PSX is probably NTSC(TV signal used in US). If you bought your PSX in the U.S. then your going to have to convert Xploder in to NTSC unless Xploder has an option to run in NTSC or any other boot CDs you have, have this option. Or you can download a program from www.megagames.com to convert files to NTSC or PAL.
