I saw some blank CDRs that were silver on both sides. They appealed to me because if I put on my own labels, it really feels like my CDR is a "store-bought" CD. I heard these are not as good as the standard "blue-tinted" CDRs commonly sold in stores. The all silver look a bit thinner than TDK,Maxell,Sony etc. brands. Bottom line-are they as good or not long-term. Thanks Dennis

I used to use the all over silver discs as they were dead cheap. They tend to be alright if you are labelling them, however, if you are not labelling them they are susceptible damage - the slightest scratch on top of the disc renders it a coaster.
