K I Kno this is kinda a dumb question, but how do u backup copies of origional and burnt copies of psx games. I Have a ps1 and a modchip(don;t kno what type tho) and i try so many different ways and they just don;t work. I have a tonne of coasters and it is pissing me off. I only burn my originals. And now my originals or backups (1's people do 4 me) aren;t working that great. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you try CDrwin? www.goldenhawk.com . Are the games not burning or are the burning and not working in your PSX.

i tried clone cd, cdr win, and psx copy. The cd's are burning but aren't working ion my playstation. THe game i am trying to copy is Suikoden 1.
Im not sure if they are working copiesand not working in my ps1, or if they just don;t work period.

You should check to see if any will play on someone elses console before you try to burn any more. The laser in your psx may be weak or even just dirty. Also check that the game you are trying to burn doesn't have protection and if it does make sure you use the correct settings to copy it.

Nero works really well for psx games.

k well i tried it on ePSXe and it didn;t work and it didn;t work and i tried it on my friends psx and it didn;t work either. The game is suikoden 1 and it isn;t supposed to be protected. I Got psx copy 2000 off of kazaa but u could find it on direct connect 2

yeah i downloaded (Wrapster) - App - PSX Copy v6.2 - Playstation CD Copier+Serial+Guide from winmx but it dont work i downloaded it like 5 times all them screwed its a rar file has stuff in it like exe and things but it has a error so i open it with winzip all txt files in it so its werid but i will try it on direct connect i never heard of kazaa but i will try and find it and d/l it to well thnx

what error is it giving? You may need the latest verison of Winrar. www.rarsoft.com

no one seemed to ask if u were burning on-the-fly or not (which you shouldn't) or what speed you burn at (slower if the faster speed isn't working out for you). I have to burn my PSX at 2x on my burner, but on a friend's newer burner, I can burn at 12x and the games work great. The programs aren't the problem here ... CloneCD is the best. If your burner isn't compatible then try Nero, the CDRWin and Fireburner. ePSXe isn't necessarily going to play all your PSX games and some may not play as well as others. so try them on ur PSX. you also may want to find better media such as Verbatims or TDKs.
