Look around. ;) But, they are only any good if you can boot from the floppy, and you might have a boot password (Do you??). Anyways, all motherboards have a way to reset the CMOS to factory defaults. Sometimes it is a jumper or switch to toggle. You can always unplug the power and disconnect the battery. Sometimes you have to short it out to discharge some capacitors ot whatever. Anyways, something along these lines will reset the CMOS to factory defaults for you. Do a search online for that motherboard. The manufacturer should have a manual/whitepaper that will tell you how to reset the CMOS. Good Luck! :D -Zack http://www.mindshatter.com/zack/smanback1.gif cdmaster2002 Mar 30, 2002, 04:47 AM or you could use debug, to blow those passwords off!, smurf2k Apr 02, 2002, 06:51 PM Or you could just tap the .del when booting and disable the password. not sure of the exact setting s tho :( http://www.cdrom-guide.com/forums/imgs/schlaubi.gifI just need a stick about this big to make a fishing rod Nexi Apr 11, 2002, 05:33 AM Umm... tapping del won't do ya any good. You'll need the password to disable the password. Heh, that sounds whacked. cyanide_3 Apr 22, 2002, 08:13 AM try and type in AWARD_SW try in CAPS then try it in lower case see if that works m8 email me if it does? hope to hear from you soon Cyanide |
