Ok, I don't want to hear "It's crap, use Nero."

If that is all you have to say, then don't reply. If you think it is crap then that is fine, tell us why in a constructive way. OK??

Nothing wrong with it. A vast improvement over the previous version. A couple of annoying omissions though in the application of audio editing and filtering tools available in proggies such as WinOnCD, Nero, or Feurio. These omissions will only apply to people who like to experiment with audio burning & most would never miss them. You could always dl a demo of Nero or Feurio (only audio) and see if you really need them.

EZCDC is easy to use and works well up until 5.02. But the latest upgrade (5.1) doesn't want to install on my computer. I have posted a link about that problem in the open forum if you wish to check it out.

Nero is more advanced (has more features) but is not as easy to deal with unless you have some experience. It's not extremely difficult, but for a newbie it could cause some questionmarks.

Nero burns cue/bin files which EZCDC does NOT. However ISO files are supported by EZCDC.

For music I prefer Feurio. It's a little complicated too, but it's a very complete music burning software.

For copying CD's I suggest Clone CD which is an easy software and good!

CDRWin is pretty advanced but is good for cue/bin files.

All of the above are good software, but one thing to keep in mind is not to use too many of them since they may conflict. Quite a few people have had conflicts when installing both Nero and EZCDC e.g. The best way to find out is to try them one by one (usually you can download a trial copy of them) and see which fits your needs best.

More info about different burning software can be found at the following web sites:
