Is is possible for active x and java to spread viruses, trojans and change settings on your computer. I checked the page out and there is an active x contol on the page but if you have active x ,java, active scripting, and scripting of java applets disabled in your web browser you are ok.

There are 2 here http://www.webattack.com/Freeware/security/fwvirus.shtml
ANTS and trojan first aid kit both are freeware.
Active X controls can be disabled under your browser security settings, which can be found in control pannel internet options.
