Forgive me if i'm a bit thick or blind or someting but how do you burn a cue/bin file using CDRWIN5? I can't see an option to grab the cue file anywhere. BTW - I knew how to do it in CDRWIN4.

fawlty Mar 27, 2002, 03:10 AM Forgive me if i'm a bit thick or blind or someting but how do you burn a cue/bin file using CDRWIN5? I can't see an option to grab the cue file anywhere. BTW - I knew how to do it in CDRWIN4. fawlty Mar 27, 2002, 05:23 PM Thanks OZ. I thought it was a bit funny that the CDRWIN.INFO site leads to Goldenhawk product (CDRWIN4) via the english link and CDRWIN5, which seems to be associated with Padus, via the German link. Anyone know what gives here? It's not like the EZCD/WINONCD thing is it? fawlty Mar 29, 2002, 12:00 AM Good one OZ - you're a fountain of information! Now can anyone suggest a good cue/bin burning program other than CDRwin4 or Nero. I've tried using both these but had no success at all. CDRWin left my CDRom system in disarray & Nero won't recognise the burner. I have also used CDRDAO to burn bin files before but it doesn't always seem to work. It's pretty basic and doesn't properly support the burner. So any suggestions will be gratefully received. fawlty Mar 29, 2002, 08:57 PM OK I'll give fireburner a go. I found that reinstalling CDRWIN5 restored the CDRoms to working order. Figured it was easier just to keep the stupid bloody thing rather than rebuild the pc. Yeah Nero 5578 just wouldn't recognise the 8230e. Tried everything within reason. Supposed to be supported but no go for me. OS is W2k. Could try Nero 5580 I suppose but probably just a waste of time. Thanks. lavicota Apr 03, 2002, 08:29 AM did you find out how to burn .cue using cdrwin 5.01 ? fawlty Apr 03, 2002, 07:18 PM You can't it seems. T'm trialing Fireburning and Blindwrite for cue/bin at the moment. They both support my burner & seem to work OK. fawlty Apr 03, 2002, 07:20 PM That's Fireburner of course. |
