I have tried to turn on the dma in system propertys and never stays checked. It only stays check on my yamaha cdrw, and it is in operable. Is anyone else having the same problems. Please let me know how I can do this. Thanks in Advance!!!!

DMA if selected, increases the CD-ROM drive or hard disk access speed.
Some drives do not support this option. If the DMA check box remains selected after you restart Windows, then this option is supported by the device.

If this is an AMD system using the 4 in 1 drivers then update them

If it's an older system/PC it may not support this.
