I have seen these in bestbuy for a good price, how are they? are they compatable with nero, Disc juggler, easy cd creator?

anyone got info on them or know about them

I wonder the 24x10x40 it has SMART-BURN technology could it be a liteon 24. From other re-boxed drives I've seen they come up in the bios as liteon. If its liteon 24x you can't go wrong. If its a liteon you can use any program. Just a thought I could be wrong.

I bought the buslink 24x burner at microcenter for $80 with rebates. It was recognized by bios and windows XP as liteon. I flashed the firmware with the latest 5S54 without problem, enabled dma, works great! Burns full 80minute CD around 4mins. :hdspin:

I believe the Buslink 24x burners BestBuys is marketing is a rebadged Lite-on. If the drive looks like this, it's a Lite-on 24x:
