From other re-boxed drives I've seen they come up in the bios as liteon. If its liteon 24x you can't go wrong. If its a liteon you can use any program. Just a thought I could be wrong. :hdspin::round::round: flaamer Jan 17, 2002, 10:41 PM I bought the buslink 24x burner at microcenter for $80 with rebates. It was recognized by bios and windows XP as liteon. I flashed the firmware with the latest 5S54 without problem, enabled dma, works great! Burns full 80minute CD around 4mins. :hdspin: Keymaster Jan 17, 2002, 11:21 PM I believe the Buslink 24x burners BestBuys is marketing is a rebadged Lite-on. If the drive looks like this, it's a Lite-on 24x: http://www.cdrinfo.com/hardware/liteon24102/images/front.jpg |
