I have a PS2 with a botched neo 2.2 innstallation. The PS2 still boots all supported disks, but the disk tray ejects at random speeds;causing the cds to fly out occasionally.
I want to have this repaired, and have another mod chip installed.Prefferably, the messiah mod or the neo 4/neostar,or any of the equilvalent non swap mod chips available.

Is there some where in the USA that I can get this done at a fair price? Is there anyone on this board that might know where I could find this service annd how much it will cost?Becuase it seems that most of the repair websites dont even return posts, much less emails.
Any help given on the situation would be greatly appreciated.
Please feel free to email me .Thanks

I do Neo4.1 installs. I also have them in stock. I would do the following to your machine:

Remove the Neo 2.2.
Test it to make sure that the machine acts normally without any mod chips.
Install the 4.1

LMK if you want it done.

OK great Im interested,in getting that done.I can save you some trouble by letting you know that the PS2 works..but the disk drive opens and closes at different speeds. This is because of an actual solder point, for the neo 2.2 which has already been removed, actually came loose during installation. However it was glued back on.
Also Id preferr the Messiah mod chip,if you have that, but the neo 4 will do if thats all you have. Please email me with your pricing and where you are located.

Thanks for your reply.
