The proper procedure for USB is as follows: -Insert GS CD -Choose With Codes (be sure to choose the right game so the cheats are working) or Without Codes -Eject GS CD -Press X on controller. Screen should say Loading.. Please wait. -Place backup in tray and close tray. -Backup should boot. jzmjr16 Mar 31, 2002, 07:52 PM for all cds, it spins now but in the browser after awhile it says disk read error emagdim01 Mar 31, 2002, 08:40 PM windex and a paper towel should do the trick hehe emag jzmjr16 Apr 01, 2002, 04:00 AM to clean the cds?? but none of the cds work, and most of them r clean! ps24eva Apr 01, 2002, 07:22 PM a cable must be loose or damaged inside when you installed it (or had it installed). xxxStealthxxx Apr 01, 2002, 11:18 PM It is beyond repair  But hey I recommend you get a pre installed one  L-ectric Kool-Aid Apr 01, 2002, 11:28 PM Double check: Are you using the right mod with the right Version PS2?
