hey, i was wondering if there were any pics of soldered modchips onto the board already? I need to see how some of them get this certain point on the ps2 board.

My ps2 is currently dissassembled, I could take pix easily right now, but what modchips are you looking for post-installation pix of?

i took tonnes of pics of my messiah install like an idiot i removed the batteriess of of web cam and lost all of them...... i am suchhh a silllllly boy!

thanks everyone, its that i wanted to see how the messiah was soldered onto the 3.3 volt point because there is gold and someone had told me to scrape it off a lil til i see silver then solder.

Thats rubbish.

I have seen this on a V4. Just "Tin" the 3.3volt point. and there you have it a nice spot to solder to.

LOL, don't scrape any gold off expecting to see tin lead!! u won't find anything but copper, gold gets plated onto the copper but come to think of it i've never seen gold on my ps2 mobo! :confused:
